Your Hajj Badal

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Effective Date: May 9, 2026

At YourHajjBadal.com, operated by S M Nahid Hasan, we strive to be 100% transparent about how your money is handled.

Because this is a strictly zero-profit spiritual service, we do not hold or keep your funds. Every dollar you send is immediately utilized to pay authorized Hajj agencies (Kafelas), airlines, and the respective Bangladeshi and Saudi government authorities to secure your loved one’s Hajj Badal slot.

Due to the strict financial regulations of these third-party entities, we enforce a highly restrictive cancellation and refund policy. Please read this carefully and be absolutely certain of your intention (Niyyah) before making any payments.

1. Strict “No Refund” Policy for Sponsor Cancellations

If you (the sponsor) decide to cancel the Hajj Badal service after initiating payment, we strictly do not offer refunds.

A. The $250 Booking Fee

The initial $250 advance fee is required 6 to 8 months before Hajj to lock in the single available registration slot before national quotas fill up. Once this money is paid to the agency/government portal, it is consumed by administrative systems and is 100% non-refundable under any circumstances.

B. The Full Package Fee (~$5,300)

Once the remaining package balance is paid (approximately 4 months before Hajj), the funds are immediately locked into non-refundable return flights, Mecca/Medina hotel accommodations, and local Saudi transport. Because we do not keep a profit margin, we cannot refund money that the agency has already spent.

  • Note: If the specific Hajj agency (Kafela) offers a partial refund according to their own internal policies, we will return exactly what they refund us. However, you must assume these funds are entirely non-refundable.

2. Cancellations by the Operator

Performing Hajj Badal is a sacred trust (Amanah). However, human life is unpredictable. If I (S M Nahid Hasan) am entirely unable to perform the Hajj journey due to reasons directly affecting me:

  • Visa Denial or Government Rejection: If the Saudi or Bangladeshi government denies my Hajj visa or travel clearance despite all proper documentation.

  • Severe Illness, Injury, or Passing: If I suffer a severe medical emergency, physical incapacitation, or pass away before the journey begins.

The Refund Action: In these highly unlikely scenarios, any unspent funds currently in my possession will be immediately refunded to you in full. For any funds already paid to the Hajj agency, I (or my legal representatives/family) will make the utmost effort to retrieve and return those funds to you according to the agency’s refund timelines.

3. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Global Events)

We are not liable for cancellations, delays, or failures to perform the Hajj Badal caused by events entirely beyond our control. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Global or regional health pandemics (e.g., sudden travel bans).

  • The Saudi government suddenly reducing international pilgrim quotas.

  • Sudden border closures, political instability, or natural disasters.

In the event of a “Force Majeure” cancellation, we cannot guarantee a refund. Any retrieval of your funds will depend entirely on whether the Saudi government, airlines, and the Hajj agency issue refunds to the public. We will pass 100% of any recovered funds directly back to you.

4. The “Dam” Guarantee (No Extra Charges)

While not a refund, we want to ensure you have absolute financial peace of mind regarding the Islamic rituals.

If a mistake is made during the obligatory acts of Hajj that requires a religious penalty (Dam – usually the sacrifice of an animal), I will pay for this penalty entirely out of my own personal money. You will never be asked to send additional funds or be denied completion of the service due to human error on my part.

5. Need Clarification Before Booking?

Because of this strict no-refund policy, we want you to be completely confident before proceeding. Please do not send any money until we have spoken directly and you are 100% comfortable with the process.
